Confirmation Number (H-1B Registration)

<p>Upon submitting an H-1B cap registration, the USCIS online system issues a <b>confirmation number</b> (format like: 2025XXXXXXXXXXXX). This is not the same as a case receipt number.</p><p>It's used to track the registration. If the registration is selected, the employer will see a Selection Notice in the account referencing that number.</p><p>The number is mainly for the registrant's records; the actual USCIS internal selection is managed in their system. When filing the petition, the employer must:</p><ul><li>Include the Selection Notice</li><li>Mention the beneficiary's Confirmation Number on the I-129 H Supplement</li></ul>
