About Public Access File (PAF)

<p>U.S. employers hiring H-1B workers are required to maintain a <b>public access file</b> for each H-1B. This isn't submitted to government unless asked, but must be available for inspection by any member of the public on request.</p><p>It includes:</p><ul><li>The certified LCA</li><li>The prevailing wage determination</li><li>Documentation of the wage paid to the H-1B</li><li>Summaries of benefits</li><li>Proof of the LCA notice posting</li></ul><p>The PAF must be ready within one day of filing the LCA and kept for at least one year after the LCA expires or H-1B employment ends (whichever later). It's a compliance step to ensure transparency and adherence to labor conditions.</p>
