Selection Notice

<p>If an H-1B registration is picked, USCIS generates a <b>Selection Notice</b> (usually a PDF in the online account) addressed to the employer.</p><p>It lists:</p><ul><li>The beneficiary's name</li><li>Confirmation number</li><li>The filing period during which the H-1B petition can be submitted (usually 90 days starting April 1)</li></ul><p>The notice often says 'Selected: Now eligible to file an H-1B cap petition.' This document must be included in the eventual H-1B petition package as proof of selection. If not selected, the status will remain 'Submitted' (or change to 'Not Selected' only at end of the fiscal year).</p>
