About Third-Party Worksite

Many H-1B IT consultants, for example, work at third-party worksites – meaning the worker is employed by Company A but physically works at Company B's offices under a contract.

These arrangements are allowed, but they introduce extra requirements:

The H-1B petition must include those worksite addresses on the LCA

USCIS often wants evidence of the arrangement (like contracts and an itinerary)

USCIS wants to confirm the original employer retains control

Recent regulations removed the formal 'itinerary' requirement, but the need to inform USCIS of worksite changes via amendment remains.
